Sven Efftinge fuhr im letzten Jahr mit seinem Kieler Startup Gitpod eine 25 Millionen Finanzierungsrunde ein und zeigt, dass Open Source ein gewaltiges Potential hat, für den Norden und weltweit. Sven ist einer der Gründer von Gitpod, einer Open-Source-Entwickler:innenplattform, die die Bereitstellung von sofort einsatzbereiten Entwicklungsumgebungen automatisiert. Die Arbeit von Entwickler:innenteams wird effizienter, denn es werden viele Arbeitsstunden gespart und neue Ebenen der Zusammenarbeit ermöglicht. Vor Gitpod gründete er die Firma TypeFox in Kiel und initiierte mehrere Open-Source-Projekte im Bereich der Entwicklerwerkzeuge 🤠
